  • Lincoln debuts 2018 Navigator with support for Apple CarPlay

I'm not a Ford/Lincoln buyer, but I'm glad to see Lincoln getting some of their mojo back. The new Continental and Navigator are significant steps in the right direction to bring Lincoln back in line with unique style and luxury. The last couple of decades for Lincoln were full of boring designs; recognizable, but odd grille textures and shapes; and too much badge engineering.

  • Apple sues Swatch over 'Tick different' trademark

The target audience for this Swatch device is too young to remember or ever heard of the "Think Different" campaign. I understand Apple trying to protect it's technology, patents and such but this is a waste of time and money.
I remember Swatch being a thing in the late-80s. All the cool kids had them. I was given a Swatch Day Off exactly like the one in the photo in 1990. I still have it and it still works almost three decades later. After that, I wore only Fossil watches until I bought an Apple Watch about a year ago. I've not given Swatch a second thought in decades, but I don't hang out at malls anymore, either. :)

  • Teardown finds Apple's new iPad largely similar to first-gen iPad Air

I wonder why the return to a thicker, heavier form factor for the iPad? Were there problems with the iPad Air 2's laminated display or structure? My iPA2 has been flawless.
Cost, in order to make the new $329 price.
I just don't understand how it can be cheaper to retool and return to a previous form factor when the R&D costs for the iPad Air 2 were already finished before October 2014 when it went on sale and tooling was already in place for the iPad Air 2's shell. Why not just add the RAM and A9 to it to create the iPad (2017) instead?

  • Urbanears launches Connected Speakers with built-in support for Apple AirPlay

I'd hate to see AirPlay disappear. For me, it's easier to use, more reliable/stable than a Bluetooth connection, has a longer range due to Wi-Fi/Ethernet, and synchronizes between multiple speakers and with video better than Bluetooth.
