Epic 'Killers of the Flower Moon' flops at the box office
I'm looking forward to seeing this on AppleTV.
I only go to a movie theater every few years, even before that multi-year thing that happened. I don't need that experience. I don't know what Apple expected from this movie in the theater but I was under the impression that it was in theaters mostly for eligibility for certain awards that may not be given to streaming-only releases. -

Rumor: AirTag 2 will debut with Apple Vision Pro integration in early 2025
Along with Maltz I also wonder what hardware needs to change for the AirTag to work with the Vision Pro? What needs to change at all? Maybe some other kind of battery than those (cheap and widely available) button cells - maybe recharging for less waste?
Apple has a way of introducing new products that I don't really care about until I find them completely indispensable. (MagSafe, Apple Watch, AirTag, etc.) -
iPhone 15 Pro Max costs 12% more to make than iPhone 14 counterpart
There's sure a lot of certainty in the headline considering how all the parts costs are estimated.
It would be helpful to know the estimated costs of individual components to make any sense of the estimates and how they affect the whole. The titanium frame costs 43% more. More than what? Is it a significant part of the construction cost? How about the camera that is "a massive 3.8 times more expensive than its predecessor." Is that $3.80 vs. $1? How much does it matter? How about the retail price of the phones being compared? If I remember correctly (not doing research the author won't do) the base iPhone 15 Pro costs $100 more but comes with more storage than the base 14 Pro. Storage prices may have declined. Or increased. What do I know? -
T-Mobile forcing customers to more expensive plans instead of hiking prices
pbailey said:I'm currently on the Magenta plan and have already started looking at other providers. if they automatically move me up to a higher plan so I have to pay $5.00 or $10.00 more a month per line, I'm going to do what they did to me. I'll switch over to another provider without telling them first and make them call me if they want me to stay with them on my current plan at the same price. I too can play the game.
