I'm still wondering about those SPEC scores though. Why can't the PowerPC series ever score as well as it's big brother (Power4) on SPEC? A 1.3Ghz Power4 chip scores 1281 on SPECfp, and now a 2.0Ghz PPC970 only gets 1001?? Something doesn't seem right. -
