Well, right now the iMac's ATA controller is limited to 137 GB. so 160 GB would be quite impossible without a an iMac revision. -

The problem with large drives exists in ATA/100 controllers too. No single drive can be over 137 GB in volume. Right now I have an 80 GB master and 120 GB slave on my Power Mac...no problems. -

Yeah, but that HDD is only an ATA/100 drive because ATA/133 is pretty much no faster. Of course the benefit of ATA/133 would be the ability to use HDDs larger than 137 GB in size.
