I wouldn't go that far. I'm sure my dual tower running X is faster than a 366 MHz G3 running 9. Things are pretty much instant on my machine. -

I only meant that using 9 on an early iBook is in all ways satisfying, not that a 366 MHz iBook can beat a dual 1.25 GHz G4 with a high-end AGP 4X card running OS X. That's 6.8 times as many clock cycles available, plus QE and the Altivec optimizations. -
