what do you mean by dropping? i dont get disconnected, but os x makes a weird "clicking" sound and pause for 2 seconds every 10 min or so if i am idle or remain on the same web page. (i am using dsl thru a router.) do you get that too? -

Thanks for the replies. EmAn, it sounds like you had the very same problem that I'm experiencing. Starting with a fresh charge, my battery gauge will indicate less than 1.5 hours while sitting idle in the Finder! I'll give Apple a call. -

is it normal for AIM to use 50-60% of the CPU when idle? the 800 DVI is cooler then then 667 DVI :confused: that was one of the big reasons why i got the 667 instead of the 800 that and the $800 price difference or so
