Just how many USB ports would you like on a portable computer, then?

I'd posit that dragging around your printer, iPod dock, M-Audio keyboard, Wacom tablet, and USB mug warmer isn't worth the effort.

Yeah, you have to make sure you don't let that happen to you, otherwise you'll never be satisfied.

Would of loved to see an iPhone improvement. For example F'ing Businesses being able to purchase!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's getting ridiculous! How the Hell am I supposed to have all my employees Personal Guarantee all their company phones? The $20 upgrade pisses me right off too!

    True.

An update will be forthcoming by the end of Feb. This is a necessity to keep up with the PC crowd that has started putting Penryn in their laptops.

    1) You give your employees iPhones? Any particular reason, other than aesthetic concerns?

    2) $20 upgrade is for the iPod touch, not the iPhone, as far as I know.

Blueray MacBook Pro was very necessary too! Dammit!

1)We are all Mac users and would love to support the company we love.

    2) Yes, it just make sense, since we all use Mac Mail, iCal, Address book, etc.

    3) I'm tired of Blackberry!

    $20

    1) All the employees are currently rolling jailbreak'd iPod touch units instead. That should of been a free upgrade, Period! I'm assuming we will be seeing more upgrade charges in the future as well and will pretty much be the norm for now on

like i said in the other thread, i'm disappointed with macbook air's look.

the concave makes it look a bit silly, and the screen is really a letdown.

the mock ups look better, especially the one from wired.

the black outlining would have helped this thing look a bit nicer.

"Oh no! Apple just gave me more choice. Must complain!"

Apple has to compare it to the TZ.

    Guess what?

New clients to Apple that are looking for a TZ alternative, will love it.

That 10% will freaking love it.

The other 90% of the market will not compare it to the TZ and call it overpriced and under performing.

They'll either choose the MacBook or MacBook Pro.

    Apple knows this.

This is a "test" from Intel and Apple to see how much thin and style go hand in hand.

This is only targeted between the MacBook and the MacBook Pro largely because of the damn price.

Value for your buck it isn't.

Convenience for fanatics who want a computer to resemble a piece of paper should be tickled pink.

I don't understand...what are you missing from the MacBook Air over a MacBook?

Optical drive is the only thing and honestly the only thing that really keeps you from doing is playing games on the airplane. Which admittedly is moderately annoying...but I have a couple games that don't require the game disk in the drive.
