Apple Notes in iOS 18 looks to up the ante with Microsoft OneNote
As long as they won't allow all notes to be exported at once, I won't use notes. I used notes then I realized I had to export every single note and that's not efficient.
I want the ability to have notes as separate files in PDF or HTML and be able to use them in standard file system like Finder or Windows or Unix. In order to make it easy, they should offer the ability to export ALL notes at once.

Apple wants to make grooved keys to stop nasty finger oil transfer to MacBook Pro screens
bgardman said:It would be nice if Apple could allow us to clean the keyboards without starting the Mac up with a key press. This is part of the auto on they use now. I have a MacBook Pro M1 and it is really annoying when I clean the keys to have the Mac startup. Any key.
I had no idea it does that. I tried my MBA 15 and it did start the mac when I hit a fn key. Damn.

Rock Paper Pencil review: the iPad upgrade every artist needs
While it does give a "texture" of paper, the friction is still non-existent, even worse than just plain glass. I had to remove it because it's so hard to write on a surface with zero friction.
The only "protector" that gives a real feel of friction is ArmorSuit. Unlike most protectors, it is highly malleable and it literally leaves a dent if you press too hard, like a real paper but bounces back eventually to original shape. I feel friction when I write on it. The disadvantage is the installation which is difficult to align given its malleability making it hard to "align" correctly and leaving a lot of bubbles.
Rock Paper Pencil is definitely not the one if you want "friction."
