  • Barbra Streisand corrected Siri by calling Tim Cook

Maybe she can phone in some of the long standing Radar's.

Interesting that they kept comparing performance to the M1—as if the M2 didn't exist.

I mean I get it. Just funny. You gotta pat close attention to what (and how) Apple presents. They are very clever.
Indeed, I thought this was kinda sad and very misleading. We're probably going to be seeing mostly 10-15% improvements over the next years, why not be upfront about it.

But, please, tell me more about everyone else’s insurmountable lead.
No one has a insurmountable lead but in today’s climate you want to be a vertical computer company, software and hardware under one roof…
Being a vertical company haven't made Pages / Number / Keynote better than MS Office or Google Workspace.  Neither made iCloud a better service than Google or MS services, neither made Siri a better assistant, even though Apple was ahead of the competition.  Apple has done an excellent work with hardware, but software is a different story.  They have their hits with macOS and iOS, but at the same time have iCloud, Pages / Numbers / Keynote and Siri, that are behind the competition.  We'll to wait and see what they do with AI.
Pages, Numbers and Keynote are there for antitrust reasons regarding Microsoft's investment in the Mac platform with Office, nothing else. It's a side-effect that they are usable and they should and will never compete with Office.

What did Apple do to tick France off do much and make them (the French) do seemingly weird things?
What is weird about informing consumers?

So, the same version of the same app isn't a problem on earlier iPhones or iOS versions.

But it's somehow that app's fault?

    Nope.  This is on Apple.
The problem is specific to Instagram.  What to you think is the logical cause?

Apple does note code their app for them.  If there was an issue, Meta should have found it in the months iOS 17 was in Beta

Just having the stock Camera app open and using it for a longer time overheats the phone as well.
