    I'm leaning towards Bose, myself, but I can understand why people would pick the AirPods. 
    That's a non-choice for me because sound quality is just not more important than every other aspect. And to be clear, we're talking about the delta between Really Good and Great sound.

Its a bunch of dorks that wish they had the talent to actually work for a technology company, but are instead stuck writing about it...so instead of honest journalism, they use their platform to put forward their "ideas" on what technology companies should do...which is pathetic and amateur...and then are constantly at a loss for explaining why they were completely wrong about everything.     It should be Apple. It's really bad form to keep loyal customers in the dark about the fate of something so fundamental to their connectivity. My brother has an older AirPort and asked me to help him upgrade. Want to stick with Apple that I know and understand, but don't want him to invest in orphaned technology with mesh coming to the fore. I think Tim could give us some direction without compromising future products. 
    Why does Apple has to answer unadulterated rumors?

    The simple answer: Stop taking rumors as gospel. Apple does not have to tell people about the state of AirPort, because they weren't the ones casting the doubt to begin with.

    My wife's iMac from 2010 needed replacement. I waited and waited for an Xmas update. When I gave up and bought the latest and greatest last month it was shown to be an October 2015 model in the About This Mac menu. Pathetic. Apple, the new Phone Company. 
    These are the comments no one takes seriously. You're using a 2010 iMac. No reason you couldn't replace it with a 2015. Absolutely no reason. Except the perpetual paranoia of wanting the latest thing that hasn't been released yet.
