That is funny (although, interestingly, Marie Antoinette never actually said it!).

The "truest" version I know is this (and I did a little research on it a year or three ago).
When Marie Antoinette was approached by whomever who said, "your majesty, the peasants have no bread," her reply in fact was something along the lines of "well, then, let them eat cake."
But here's the twist: Although the word she used translates to "cake" - it did not refer to what we Americans think of today: a sweet flour confection for dessert. Rather, "cake" was (is?) the remnants of crust left after baking breads in metal pans, i.e., in the bottoms, on the sides, fallen off bits in the ovens, etc. So she was saying that the cake should be distributed to the hungry rather than tossed away as by-product.
So not quite as cold-hearted as the connotation we have about the statement today. Still, she was not exactly the most compassionate, other-oriented ruler either, so shed no tears over her downfall.
Anywho, that's what I read about it.
And Apple's not quite Marie Antoinette, to get back a bit on topic. At least the Shuiffle (a very cool little piece of tech that's brought me much joy) is less than $50! Beats the hell out of some breadcrust fragments too.

Apple and all it's 300 users worldwide must be very proud of this achievement
Yeah, like 10 percent of the market is only 300 users. So I guess MS has only 1500 users then? and declining by the moment?
hahaha, dude go learn some math and then come back to reality while you are at it.
