You number is suspect, because you're assuming that iPhone sales aren't going to grow. also your number is not necessarily correct on its own.
There are already 2 years of iphone sales data available. And my 53,000 number came from SEC filings from AT&T and Verizon. It's not like I am pulling numbers out of thin air.
You people provide zero actual data, yet calling my numbers suspect.

Your numbers are suspect because you are making attributions that are your own. I don't see that number you used as having any meaning in this context.
AT&T had about 300,000 more pickups than Verizon ad most of that is attributed to the iPhone. Without the iPhone, there might have been less pickups than Vesizon.
That's the only number that counts. The rest is just playing around.
I'm talking about over the past year prior to Verizon buying Alltel. AT&T merged with Cingular in 2004. These are entirely two different moments in time. Are you willing to disrupt the space/time continuum in attempt to make Verizon look good?

+1. The iPhone's sales are going to continually grow no matter what IMO.

Haha. Bet he's not willing.
