No need to name-call. Different people have different levels of sophistication in different areas of life. Cut him some slack and allow him to get educated.
Make fun of him all you want. He's iGenius with a new alias and simply trolling the forum.
I've wondered - How much more would it cost to manufacture electronics, such as this, in the United States. Would it be so much more that it would significantly add to the cost of the product. It's a shame we can't do this here.
One of the things that is most frustrating about being involved in business is our governments. I'm talking the entire gamut from the local town hall, to the state and then national level. At each level there is this idea that one can tax ourselves into a better life. That of course is absurd but yet we see exactly that on the national level with health care and locally with boondoggles to numerous to mention.
By the way this isn't a party line issue as both sides need to learn to live a little cheaper. Either way the result is that heavy taxation dramatically impacts the ability of a company to be successful. much has been made of Chinas cheap labor but yet that isn't really a huge issue in some of the highly automated plants that are now on line around the world.
There are many other lesser issues of course such as environmental regulation but none of these has the impact high taxes have.
I think one of the important things to remember here are, Samsung are one of the leaders in OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) monitor and TV screens.
In October 2008, Samsung unveiled the world's largest OLED Television at 40-inch with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixel.
Now image what they can do with OLED and multi-touch on the iPhone and iPad?
