I have rethought possible. I've rethought about why ATT still has not rolled out 3G where I live after years of promises. ATT still seems to think it's 1910 vs. 2010. Letter to ATT: Look at your 3G coverage in Michigan and tell me ... how should I "rethink the possible"? If Verizon gets the iPhone, you've lost a customer. I don't mean to sound short ... but I'm paying $30 a month for nothing (yes, EDGE is nothing).
I am paying $125 a month for an iPhone and Motorola RAZR on their minimum plan. The $30 iPhone surcharge is really pounding me in the ass and I've actually been contemplating whether it's even worth keeping my iPhone. So if Verizon doesn't get the iPhone in July when my contract is up, I'm done.
I have 550 minutes a month with an iPhone and shared minutes on a little Nokia folder for my mother. I pay under a hundred, but get about 10% through being a Costco member. So yes, you are getting pounded. I was told by AT&T that I "had" to have 1,200 minutes a month to have a setup like I have, but I got a salesman willing to work with me at an AT&T store.
What about the recent report of 75% improvement and fewer dropped calls?
How about their U-verse service which, IMHO, beats Comcast and Time Warner.
Since the dropped-calls brag came out, I now GET dropped calls and didn't before.
As for U-Verse: been there, done that, fought the billing foulups. Just like I did when all they offered was dish-phone-DSL. AT&T can mess up billing FAR "better" than Verizon landline can.
God I hope Apple releases a Verizon iPhone so the free market can do it's job and get rid of these jokers.
Back when AT&T was actually American Telephone and Telegraph they invented and innovated like crazy. The Bell Laboratories were truly remarkable in what they accomplished. But that company is long, long gone, and AT&T is now just a brand name. Another example is RCA: just a brand, Radio Corporation of America is long gone.

I mean, that service was a big selling point for me...
So if I lose my advertised rollover minutes would I have a case for early contract cancellation without fees?

Read comments in the forum. They're not getting rid of rollover minutes.
Lipstick on a pig.

Seriously guys, this is a bit much.

Did I miss something?
When did AT&T innovate anything?

The new AT&T innovates... ad slogans.
