And that's because Steve Jobs says so? More over if flash is so bad, why not remove it's support from Safari as well on Mac/Windows ? You know why, because people would stop using Safari as well.
Have you folks even used Flash on Android, it's flawless and am loving it..
But it may finally be time for adobe flash to live inside mobile devices and have acceptable performance. For those who commented how the RIM Playbook looked slow on the adidas flash website video, RIM VP stated 2 days ago that the web browser is not optimized yet (it is only running on single core, not dual core yet).

No, its time for flash to die. The only people that benefit from flash making the leap to mobile devices are the executives at Adobe. We, the users, should be demanding something better. They've had years to get it to work and they haven't. Now its too little too late to suggest that with a dual-core, battery sucking, 1GB memory device that Flash might finally work. Seriously? The answer was just to wait until tablets because as powerful as a regular computer? Thats not innovation, thats lack of innovation.

It's just a different tool for web designers.
These people who are designing a "1 minute to load" H.264 flash video splash screen will design a "1 minute to load" webM HTML5 video splash screen. If they are designing flash animations that require dual core battery sucking CPU, they will design HTML5 canvas animation that require dual core battery sucking CPU.

Thats like me saying the iPad is flawless. I don't believe it and you wouldn't believe it either.

Actually that just means you have a very low expectation for "flawless".
