I'm disturbed at how many people stood and clapped about Bush's idiotic proposed ban of all human cloning.

" A child born today could be driving a hydrogen automobile in the future..." Hydrogen automobiles...in 16 years? I'm sure we can really shorten that time span...

Ban cloning! Hey, this is getting GOOD!

[quote]If they didn´t clap all the time he would be half through the speech now

I was just thinking, "If they didn't have to give the President a standing ovation for every time he gets a sentence out, this speech would be over by now."

Seriously though, I wish the Congress would just sit on their hands until the end of the speech. That would leave time for the President to put actual substance into his speech rather than these buzzwords.

there's hope in the words and emotion in the eyes

it's so easy to be misled by the savvy gentle guise

and like fools we trust the delivery

but it's all just drunk sincerity
