Looks JUST like the iPhone 4 and 4S. If you don't have a problem with those designs, you have a serious problem somewhere else.

    I couldnt agree more!!!!

Apple makes beautiful products. This would be an atrocity!!!

And yes it makes total sense that Apple would throw off potentially real leaks by mixing in some out there prototype leaks.

Have you considered the possibility that this is a fabrication of the rumor mill?
Why does it have to be a deliberate leak from Apple to throw competitors off? Apple's play book is to KEEP IT SECRET. How quickly we forget that last year's rumors of a redesigned iPhone 5 never materialized, but not before the owner of Hard Candy produced a shipment of cases based on leaked specs,

Hmm? 16:9 is a video format, theaters never "moved to 16:9" nor used it... 2.39:1 is just a widespread anamorphic movie format for the standard 35 mm film.

Most of the rumors seem to be converging on a 4" 16:9 screen. Interesting.

I've argued that 16:9 screens are a better fit for the smartphone form factor than 3:2 before; however, I never actually expected Apple to seriously consider moving to a 16:9 format, mainly due to app compatibility. I'm curious now, but I'll still be quite surprised if the rumors pan out.

Not really. The rumors also "converged" last Fall about the "iPhone 5" and they were all completely wrong.

I am sure that Apple seriously considers every good idea; the same cannot be said about Apple fanboys who blindly believe that only the ideas that Apple has already implemented are any good, only to change their misguided beliefs once Apple decides to implement something else.

Literally for all of recorded history on planet earth, 16:10 has been the magic or "golden ratio" for rectangles that interact with human beings. Doors, tables, books, buildings ... everything.

Then some a-holes in Hollywood come out with 16:9 for widescreen movies and make it a standard and now all our stuff is changing to 16:9.

It's a f*cking abomination is what it is.

Apple was the last company clinging to 16:10 in the tech business and held off 16:9 for over twenty years, and now they've caved.

All that beauty down the drain because the latest "action" (war) picture must be formatted correctly on your telephone and none of the explosions missed!

    What a travesty.

Can't tell if being serious or just trolling.

Either way. 16:9 iMacs came out in 2009 so argument is invalid *shrug*

Look at that red circle. there's "o" beside the earpiece I think the top is for proximity sensor. Perhaps a new design for proximity sensor than what iPhone 4 and 4S have.

Above the earpiece is the FaceTime camera. Next to the FaceTime camera is the proximity sensor. That's the ambient light sensor.
