His is a common retort to the J.D. Power and Associates rankings for customer satisfaction, marking 8 straight surveys of besting the competition as previously reported by Apple Insider. In fact, "Apple's overall score of 849 out of 1,000 earned it a five-star "PowerCircle Rating" from the consumer advocacy group, which categorizes the company as "among the best" for customer satisfaction. Apple was the only company in the 2012 Wireless Smartphone Satisfaction Study to earn that distinction."

If we analyze the Human Development Index (which correlates highly with affluence) cross referenced against language and regional support for a key iPhone product feature and Apple sales regions I postulate that we will discover an exceedingly high correspondence to Apple Store retail locations.

List of countries by Human Development Index (30 highest included as well as some countries with significant populations or regional influence):

    1 Norway
    2 Australia
    3 Netherlands
    4 United States
    5 New Zealand
    6 Canada
    7 Ireland
    8 Liechtenstein
    9 Germany
    10 Sweden
    11 Switzerland
    12 Japan
    13 Hong Kong
    14 Iceland
    15 South Korea
    16 Denmark
    17 Israel
    18 Belgium
    19 Austria
    20 France
    21 Slovenia
    22 Finland
    23 Spain
    24 Italy
    25 Luxembourg
    26 Singapore
    27 Czech Republic
    28 United Kingdom
    29 Greece
    30 United Arab Emirates
    ...
    66 Russia
    ...
    84 Brazil
    ...
    101 China
    ...
    124 Indonesia
    ...
    134 India

Language Support and Availability of Siri:

    United States (English, Spanish)
    United Kingdom (English)
    Australia (English)
    France (French)
    Germany (German)
    Japan (Japanese)
    Canada (English, Canadian French)
    China (Mandarin)
    Hong Kong (Cantonese)
    Italy (Italian)
    Korea (Korean)
    Mexico (Spanish)
    Spain (Spanish)
    Switzerland (Italian, French, German)
    Taiwan (Mandarin)

List of Apple Net Sales by Region for three months ended 30 June 2012:

    Americas 41.4%
    Europe 26.6%
    Asia/Pacific 25.5%
    Japan 6.5%

Number of Apple Stores by Country:

250 Apple Retail Stores in the United States
34 Apple Retail Stores in the United Kingdom
26 Apple Retail Stores in Canada
17 Apple Retail Stores in Australia
13 Apple Retail Stores in France
11 Apple Retail Stores in Italy
10 Apple Retail Stores in Germany
9 Apple Retail Stores in Spain
7 Apple Retail Stores in Japan
5 Apple Retail Stores in China
3 Apple Retail Stores in Switzerland
1 Apple Retail Store in Hong Kong
1 Apple Retail Store in the Netherlands
1 Apple Retail Store in Sweden

Interesting that the list of Apple Retail Store locations matches the languages and regions supported by the marquee feature of iOS 5, Siri for which features and functions are extremely challenging and time consuming to develop.

Amazingly, Apple seems to open Apple Retail Stores in locations where considerable numbers of people purchase their products and services. Furthermore, Apple appears to introduce products and services into those regions as soon as possible.

There are zero Apple Stores in NZ, and Apple support them differently here due to this fact.

Not true in terms of usability. The reason why android despite its' generally lagginess is able to lure so many users into loving it, is because every switches just takes shorter time to achieve. Toggling between settings, connecting to pc, sharing photos between any installed apps are simply done with a few click/guestures and these are just some of the convenience that makes it so useable and less frustrating to use.

Wow, everything that you have said is exactly incorrect... perhaps you inadvertently omitted the /s tag.
