Edit my posts again and you'll have action taken against you.
I didn't edit your post. Only a mod can do that.
I creatively quoted you, for fun. If that's an actionable offense then moderation here is a joke. Of course it's not, and you're just blowing hot air as usual.

Open your eyes. And shut up!
The funniest part about him taking offense at that is that this is his main modus operandi on this forum. He cherry picks certain snippets from a paragraph, or cuts out most of a sentence and then makes a straw man argument over something that was never said. He did this this several times in this thread alone. See post #35 for proof. I guess he subscribes to the do as I say not do as I do school of logic.
Other posters have shown that facetime audio only is already possible now. I provided links proving it was never blocked on any carrier besides AT&T and then only to a select plan. The best he could come up with was a pathetic link from a blog of a rumor of a mysterious and unnamed Verizon employee that thought it might not be allowed which was quickly proved to be false the very next day.
But I have to say the funniest part of this whole thread was him being unaware that FaceTime over 3G wasn't even allowed until iOS 6. He thought the carriers were to blame for it being blocked in iOS 5 and seemed completely unaware that option didn't even exist.
@gazoobee I'm pretty sure I read that iOS 7 beta for iPad has not been made available yet. That seems like a more probable explanation than the idea that everyone has simply overlooked it so far.
If it's all the same to you i'll wait for someone who has a reputation for telling the truth to tell me if that's the moderation policy. I don't believe a damn thing you say, troll.

Alrighty, it's quite fun to see you blather about and revise your argument to make it fit the facts as you learn them.
EDIT: Done. You're still wrong, and an egotistical tit.
Nothing new about this! Just connect a FaceTime call today and press the home button -- audio VoIP and video is halted -- I don't see how this is any different, just starts out as audio. Yawn, should have been there since day one...
At least on iOS -- not sure if there's a way to do the same on Macs today...
And there you go rewriting your arguments again. You drew a direct link in saying that all networks would shut down FaceTime Audio over cellular based on past form with FaceTime over cellular. But the truth is that most of those networks never blocked FaceTime over cellular, so your inference was, and is, flawed.
Heaven knows what the future may bring, but with regards the past you, my friend, are wrong. Which is fine, everyone's wrong from time to time, but your pathetic troll assertions that you aren't wrong are ridiculous.
Anyway time out. You being wrong isn't interesting. Shut up!
FaceTime Audio, if integrated directly into the Phone app, as iMessages are with SMS messages, could be a massive game changer.
Why? There's no Phone app on the iPod Touch. There is FaceTime Video, but the icon for that is (currently) a video camera, which would make FaceTime Audio a bit of an odd inclusion. iMessage didn't come the iPod Touch straight away at the same time as the iPhone. I don't think (I might be wrong) that FaceTime did either. None of the iOS images shown have been of iPod Touch (or iPad), just iPhone, so it's an unknown quantity.
I don't doubt it'll come eventually, but will it come at the same time as on the iPhone is the question.
Maybe think about the question a bit before deciding it's "stupid"?
It's not a stupid question at all; I was wondering the same thing. Skil is just... like that.
We haven't seen any iOS 7 on iPod Touch media, which is intriguing. For that matter, all the official images are running on white iPhones. Perhaps they are re-tooling the OS to be darker on black iPhones? Time will tell.
Oh, on that subject, FREAKING COMBINE FACETIME WITH MESSAGES ALREADY, APPLE. Show us a list of our iMessage contacts in Messages and have FaceTime as an option just like video chat is with AIM…
Yes, However on the contacts app(or combine the 3 ) send a mini message or FaceTime call from it.
Yes blocking the calls will be at launch, There likely is going to be even a battle about At&t We let you have video calls so you can now public Why you ripping us off still At&tStop complaining publicWe will stop supporting you, and switch if you don't At&tNow announcing support for FaceTime video, audio and Skype
And you can guess the rest

As I mentioned in my earlier post... just minimize Facetime to the dock and you get audio only.

Guess you better leave, huh?
I feel like a kindergarten teacher: please go back and read the entire argument again, this time without pretending you know anything.

Ah, that's great. Wrong about a future product opinion.

I wonder if it'll come to the iPod Touch too?
'Kay. Keep thinking whatever you want to think.
Now this is just a stupid question.
