So far, talking minutes here, performance is much better on my iPad 3. More importantly Safari hasn't crashed yet on on A I forums. ????????????????????
Holy crap! You're right! I can read/post on my iPhone. Will miracles never cease?
Personally, I think iOS 7.1 is blazing fast and amazing. Apple really did their homework on this one. I had no problems with 7.0, except for a few minor bugs, and they've patched those. That's why I love Apple.
Siri used to take me to the wrong place and tell me I have to get out and walk the rest of the way. US law does not allow me to respond appropriately to a wife that would say that but it does permit trade-ins and upgrades just like most carriers.
I wonder what is going on in Apple's design team. Obviously people didn't adapt well to Jony's 7.0, I do feel that the new design is a stark step away, concept wise, from what iOS7 design was supposed to be.
Now, I for one am happy, because I never liked the minimalist design that rolled out; if they now also change some of the icons I'm a happy camper.
I just would love to be a fly in Jony Ive's office to hear the discussions that they had.

I think it has to do with getting into the flow of things. I think iOS will be even further refinement. It will take time to get into a working rhythm on something as deep as iOS.

The show button shape is hideous, lazily implemented..seems like Apple just did for the sake of those complaining about the text based buttons..
I agree, but having those on makes it sooo much easier to parse screens at a glance. If they are good designers they'll go back to their senses and design for the users instead of their whims.
What isn't minimalism in the style they rolled out with 7.0 that has been radically altered as the default for 7.1?
I see refinement and additions to iOS 7 — which is completely expected — but not going back to the ugly iOS 6.x days.
I think it's a huge change going from "undesigned" square boxes (which were hard to read) to what we have now. Yes I too don't miss the skeuomorphic days but but I wonder if they've taken the simplistic approach too far with the initial release.
Something I didn't quite figure out in iOS7 was why the keyboard is black in certain apps and grey in others. There must be some logic to it that I missed, or have been to lazy to grasp.

She feels that her affection is being challenged. It’s a subconscious way of asserting her dominance. Don’t hold it against her.
Or, well, maybe if you held it against her more often, this wouldn’t be happening. HI-YO!
Apologies for vulgarity.

Yes but at least Siri doesn't tell you to take a left 1.1 meters after the intersection. Pretty sure that feature has wife exclusivity.

She doesn't? Apple Maps must be getting better.

That's morbid, man

c'mon, you chuckled at the least.

Your entire post is complete nonsense.

A'ight, maybe a bit

Care to elaborate?

I outright laughed out loud.
OTOH, I'm not sure what that says about me.
Now I'm only seeing uppercase no matter if the caps lock is on or off. Did something change or am I misremembering?

I honestly don't know to what you refer.
