Yeah... I'll tell you exactly how from first-hand experience. Seasoned, contributing posters need to call out the mods right here on the forums in public and criticize them for doing a mediocre job, assuming they even know what doing a job is. Then, they will have a hissy-fit because they won't like being pointed-out as an enabler to the troll-problem. You will get banned a couple times, but be persistent because it is necessary. Expect the mods to not at any point even make an effort (like in the past) to privately discuss the issue because it would involve them having to actually talk.
Then... you'll have whiners like Brlawyer post a sobbing thread as to why trolls like BF got banned for being trolls and be seeking someone to hand-hold them, and then see again mods kissing-up to miscreants like him.
Hurry up and read this before the mods remove it and pretend all is happy in troll-land.
Between the two of you, there's more feathers on a crocodile than merit in your viewpoints...though I suspect both are just being deeply cynical and doomed to remain so.

Terrible supply chain management? Again, with zero evidence, you are just reaching.
IF there was a taptic engine problem, it could be manufacturing, specification, malfunctioning testing or wrongly calibrated equipment, engineering snafus, late specification changes, incompetence, materials contamination, poor environmental management during manufacturing or assembly, a genuine mistake(it happens) or any one of a thousand or more considerations at every step of the process. It could be Apple's fault, the manufacturer or the assembler.
Again, IF there was a problem and it WAS the Taptic parts AND it was identified at a late stage, then you could say Apple by dint of sheer effort, throwing money at it and paying whatever price was needed to obtain replacement parts...that the supply chain management, produced a face saving miracle instead of a potentially very damaging scenario. Limited supply in place of a complete dearth.
But I don't know anything either...except that there is more forum hot air than tea in China.

If you're that upset about how the moderators moderate the forum then stop posting here. If it's that dramatic then you should logoff the internet and never get back on again.
Just because you think someone is a troll doesn't mean they are actually a troll, that is why we have moderators that is for them to decide not you. If you don't like something then report it and then shut up about it.
Trolling on most forums is often defined to, a personal attack, sexual harassment, trying to spam or sell something on the forum, abusive language. Sometimes I wonder how many of the members on this forum survive in the real world. Do you have your own personal moderator follow you around all day? Does he protect you from mean people?
If you don't like something then ignore it and move on. Maybe the moderators have an opinion we are adults and can work out most issues on our own. What a shocking concept.
• I couldn't get the Milanese Loop over my hand and onto my wrist—it was the smaller watch though and they didn't have the big one for me to try. I find link type bracelets rather confining and uncomfortable, so I was disappointed.
Get it over your hand? Is that the way you're expected to put this band on? Doesn't the end of the loop detach magnetically and then slide right out of the guide, allowing you to strap it on over your wrist, put it back through the guide, and then tighten/reattach?
Serious questions. Can you enlighten me regarding how that mechanism works, because apparently I've got the wrong vision.
He keeps posting that the Watch is a failure and Tim Cook is a failure.
That's spamming. Everyone already knows how he feels about Tim Cook yet he keeps posting negative spam dozens of times a month.

The reason is he wants to get a negative response aka as Trolling.

• The sport watch is amazingly far lighter than the SS watch. I didn't expect it to be so noticeably much lighter.

Well, I don't know AI's definition of a "troll" as I couldn't find it in a search on the site in the Forums area.
The Wikipedia definition of a troll is closer to what I perceived it to be (although I am quite aware that Wikipedia is not the definitive source of information).
"In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."
I think it needs to add "repeatedly" to the definition to make it clear.
Someone who gives a different opinion to a majority on a topic is of course not a troll, and is needed to have lively and interesting discussion. Someone who begins to repeat the same thing constantly (with no variation, stating the same thing again & again), in many threads, and in threads not related to the topic, using inflammatory language, with the express purpose of provoking other readers & posters, is.
What you described above is a definition of abuse (1st part), or a spammer (2nd part).
In any case, I think we can be sure the Apple Watch will influence watch design from here on out, so you'll be seeing big rectangulars from here on out!
Maybe. But I don't see it that way. Maybe this fashion season while it's hot, but watches have always been in a space to be different and I don't see Apple changing fashion unless Jony Ive suddenly gains the reputation of a Paul Lagerfeld with fashion designers around the world looking to him for design cues on all manner of fashions.

I don't disagree there are spammers or people that are always negative no matter the subject. However we shouldn't beat up on the moderators. I would assume they volunteer to moderate the forum, have jobs, families and other obligations. Sometimes and in some cases many times we just need to work things out or simply ignore a person.
I do however believe the troll word is used to often here even more so because AI has a habit of posting provocative threads. The gay issues are a good example. anything related to Samsung, while valid stories they are going to produce heated debates at best, personal attacks at worse.
On a subject like this I agree why get a topic off to a bad start if the person has no real interest in the product.

If there is a clear trend then I guess it's up to the moderators discretion if they want to call it trolling. It is annoying to see the same people always posting negative comments without anything positive. I will be the first to admit if I don't like a product I will comment on it but I own nearly everything Apple has on the market right now. So there can't be that much I dislike..lol

He keeps posting that the Watch is a failure and Tim Cook is a failure.
That's spamming. Everyone already knows how he feels about Tim Cook yet he keeps posting negative spam dozens of times a month.
If he really has ZERO interest in the Watch why is he constantly posting comments in Watch topics?
The reason is he wants to get a negative response aka as Trolling.
