I just watched the video embedded in your link ("Here's what happens when you drop an Apple Watch face down on cement"). Very surprising results considering the screen is supposed to be almost as scratch/damage proof as the sapphire version. While almost everyone wouldn't intentionally drop the watch, accidents can happen. Then there's this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7015269
Sapphire cracks easier than glass, so not a surprise : next FUD.
That's why they used the GG4 (Ion-X) on the sport version.
My 42mm space grey model was originally estimated to ship between May 13-27. But on April 30th, i got my shipping confirmation and it delivered on Friday, May 1st. So they could ahead by a few weeks...
Same with mine. I ended up cancelling my watch order last night. Since I'm going out of town for a few weeks, I didn't have a choice but to cancel. I'll buy a watch eventually.
Had you considered simply changing the ship-to address?
