I know what it is, but unless you've seen a watch or similar made out of LM, I fail to understand why you believe it's a great material for a watch. what devices have you seen made of it? touched? examined? so please - share your research in this field of metallurgy....
Wow, NolaMacGuy, you're a pretty uptight guy, aren't you? Shove some coal up in there to make some diamonds!! LMAO. One doesn't need to see, touch, or examine a material to be able to assess from its description and metallurgical properties that it would be a good material to use in a watch. From their website, liquid metal has a high yield strength, high hardness, superior strength/weight ratio, superior elastic limit, high corrosion resistance, high wear-resistance, and unique acoustical properties. All of these are perfect reasons to use it in a watch. And, Richard Miltner from Miltner Adams Company provides a testimonial: "Liquidmetal is absolutely awesome. I work with titanium a lot and Liquidmetal outperforms titanium by far. We will soon see Liquidmetal more and more in different applications—the future has definitely arrived."
yeah, it is. i prefer it's frontpage for headline consumption (AI is such a busy mess), and scan the top-posts for a thread to gauge opinions, but im losing interest due to the top-heavy troll ratio. it's hardly worth my time anymore.
thats what i prefer about AI -- the forums here arent as infested w/ mouth-breathing trolls.
speaking of which -- guess who showed up on MR? BF. hes pulling his same racist troll schtick there...ive flagged him a few times, hopefully he gets banned but not yet.
When is BF back here? His balanced opinions are sorely needed here.

So, chill out a bit, dude. Stop being so uptight.
Not uptight at all. as my name implies I live in one of the least uptight places on earth.
I just asked you to back up your assertion, which caused you to get aggressive instead.

Ha, I was just having a little fun with you. You ARE uptight IF you saw my response as aggressive. - It was anything but aggressive. And, my assertion was adequately backed up, but probably not to your satisfaction. But whatever, dude. Look back at your other posts - you are a pretty uptight kind of guy. But to each their own...

That troll is never coming back here. If you're also a racist jerk I hope you get permabanned, too.
