I thought the show was going to be boring with bad acting, but I was blown away. This is can easily become a binge watcher. Having said that, I decided I don’t need to get hooked to another show, so I’m putting it on ice for now.
I have free AppleTV+ so I have all of these episodes waiting for me... who has not enough time to watch any of them right now in between busy schedule, my current Netflix drama series and Disney+. Ugh - too much of good things.
So far I've only watched the first 5 episodes of both See and The Morning Show. See is ok, but overall not that great. I'm willing to give it a few more episodes to see if it picks up at all. .
I think The Morning Show is terrific so far though. Even though Aaron Sorkin has nothing to do with it, I like his shows in the past, and The Morning show has a very Aaron Sorkin vibe to it.
I don’t do AppleTV and generally try to limit TV viewing so understand my perspective. In any event these people sound like the Chinese government and their reactions to comments about the Chinese concentration camps. Pretty pathetic really.
By the way I have to wonder how people doing all this TV watching ever get anything done. Life is more satisfying accomplishing something regularly.
Well, I wouldn't put it past people to let their Apple bias come in the way of reviewing the shows, even though every review is anyway subjective.
However, it does seem like people are liking the shows.
Looks like Apple TV+ will go through the same typical Apple product life cycle:
Announced - Pronounced DOA - Compared to entrenched players and labelled doomed - Customers quietly buy into it - A year or 2 later is declared a huge hit - media waits for next Apple offering to skewer and pronounce doomed.
The title and premise almost put me off watching the The Morning Show but it has by far being a stand out series. The casting is superb, the acting is fantastic and it has shone a whole new light on Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Whilst I knew Reese Witherspoon was a good actress, Jennifer Aniston has real shown just how good she is too.
It is a thoroughly entertaining series which is standard out good. I can't wait for the next episode.
You can never please everyone, never mind someone, all of the time. This is a great show and the viewers opinion is what really matters.
Jennifer Aniston is totally underrated. She was brilliant in Cake (2014), and in my opinion should have received an Oscar nomination that year. She is just as good in The Morning Show.
"For All Man Kind" is a horible distortion of any pro-history from the events of the Moon Race. A better start would have deserted the total failure of the Democrats "Big Society"and continued the race for space from that point.
So "alternative realities" stump you then? You do realise the entire premise of the show is a "What if the Russians landed on the moon first" thing right?
Kind of like the entire premise of Monty Python's The Life of Brian was a "what if someone called Brian was born at the same time as Jesus and through a series of unfortunate events got mistaken for the Messiah". That was the premise but the Fundamental Christians thought they were mocking Jesus.
I plan to watch TMS, but so far I have knocked out FAM, See, the Snoopy thing, Ghost Writer, and Helpsters (I have little kids). I can't imagine that Dickenson is for me, as it seems from the outside that I am not their target audience. That being said, FAM is by far my favorite; I am slogging through See but I am not actually sure why.

I like the character building of the Morning Show. That being said I'm loving Carl on For All Mankind.
