In game screenshots can be taken from the PC leak of the early alphas of the game and photochopped into a 'screenshot' such as this. In the last screenshot, since Doom 3 is the frontmost app, I'm wondering why the Process Viewer window is on top of it. I'm also wondering why the titlebar buttons are grayed out on the Doom 3 window when it's supposed to be the frontmost app.

Okay, it's pretty obvious now that these shots were faked. Thus, I'm deleting them from the posts I had earlier so they don't waste our server's resources.
Why is it that there's always something odd with the windows in those screenshots. In that screenshot, there are 2 active windows...the Doom 3 window and the About Doom 3 window.

This is actually standard windowing behavior; Try it in any application
(Yes, that screenshot is 100% 'fake'; It's certainly not Doom 3, but there was no usage of Photoshop or any other imaging tool. Fun, anyway )

Actually, this is incorrect. In any properly-behaving application, once the window loses focus, its title bar goes translucent. The only cases in which this does not happen are in poorly-coded apps that override the standard window class or apps that have frozen up and aren't properly communicating with the window server.

And in any app with a standard Project Builder about box - see for yourself in Mail, Terminal, TextEdit and so on.

Where do these people get the money for programs like this anyway?

I have a Cinema display
Nice trick. The font still isn't right, though.
Also, you didn't exactly composite the window titlebar perfectly.
Fake, fake, fake, fake, fake.

Except that the menu bar should have said Process Viewer then.
