    and who expected an imac as we have it today...

    so, it was indeed way beyond the rumor sites... but not as you or me expected it to be

    I am so underwhelmed with APPL right now. They're going to have to do something super-impressive to get me to raise an eyebrow. And I figure you can pretty much COUNT on seeing somebody ride out onto the stage on a Segway...right?

    honestly, screw hardware announcements. if steve & folk ride up there on a segway, my day/week will have been made!

    Just read <a href="http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?s=01360a065af85b70628cc6f2d09aba36&; threadid=137473" target="_blank">this</a> thread over at MacNN's iBook forum.



    seanyepez claims to have some info on new iBooks coming down the pipe in January. He does seem to know a few inside folks, although he's not always 100% correct.



    With it being so close, it's enough to make me put off the purchase, anyway...
