I can't see the European store, but the US one has clearly been updated this morning... with a back-to-school thing.

I think with the Paris show occuring soon, we shouldn't expect any interesting updates until then. I suspect this update also implies (because they rarely update twice in a week) we should expect any minor updates, such as the rumoured iPod disc capacity bump, this week....

Macbidouille says that one of their sources suggested yesterday to watch today's Apple Store. No more details are available. Just watch... Perhaps the new powerbooks?

Are you talking about that orange flag thing? Because that's been there for a good week or so. It alternates with the Macromedia MX box and a few other highlighted items.

What would iTMS have to do with the online store site? There's no relationship.

Would they really update the european stores first? Yes the swedish Apple Store is down. But I still think that Apple would update the american Apple Store before anyone else get their piece of the pie.

macbidouille suggested that because only the european Apple Stores were down. Incidentally, the US Apple Store is now offline too...

So now what to do? 1.8G P5 and put up with current duff monitor or new iMac????

All I have to say is if the iMac gets updated with faster processors than PowerBooks and the PowerBook stays the same, with no updates, that's pretty F****** sad. But it could mean a PBG5 at Paris?

Yep, I just noticed this. Sorry, looks like I was way off-base. (Which in this case is a good thing...)
