Canon S230 Digital Elph..on Amazon for about 250 bucks or so..
3.2 megapixel.. PLUS..broadcast quality movie (640x480) movies which import into imove like a dream. Excellent sound too. (about 30 seconds is the limit..but surprisingly thats really about all you need befoer you start boring someone with the same scene).
The photographs are excellent (very good night time/low light).
The model is being discontinued , replaced by a model that does NOT do the broadcast quality movies..so its really a step down
(I purchased an extra one as a back up I love mine so much)
what about the canon sd-10 advertised on the apple site--any thoughts?
The SD10 really confuses me. Why is there a telescoping barrel when there's no optical zoom? They couldn't fit it into the body or want to deceive the buyer...
