Well, I order my 1.25Ghz 15"er 4 days ago. Today it has left the Terminal in Luxemberg. But I doubt I'll get it before xmas.
When I rang up the AppleStore (UK&Ireland) I asked about the screen troubles and the bloke told me there had been a mass recall and now the new ones are all fine. Well, that was enough for me!
3 out of 5 new 15" PowerBooks are having to be returned for repair, bad separators on on the screens, leaving white impressions on the screen.
Wait. Wait. Wait.
I'm serious.
I don't care if you are an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator, I'm not going to believe those stats you're stating until you give me a credible source where they came from. I call BS until you produce some evidence. Personal experience doesn't count.
Count me as yet another owner of a 'mythically' perfect 15" albook.
