Charisma, cheeriness, some artificial camaraderie with the interviewer. It just screams at me every time I see her or hear her, especially when I hear her. She over-acts. I'm not saying she's any different than 90% of other politicians out there, mind you. No need to be defensive about it.

I thought I asked a pretty straightforward question. I didn't intend it to sound anything more than probing. But, yes, you did answer it straightforwardly in return. Thanks. Of course, I can't argue with your perception of things. I neither understand it nor think it's a particularly valid perception, but eh. I think *being* phony is way more important than *sounding* phony.
My perception of Hillary is that she comes across as scripted more often than not. You can really tell when she's speaking off the cuff, primarily because she comes off as more passionate when she does. But most of the time she is very careful about what she says, how she says it, and it ends up giving off a disingenuous vibe to me.
You can see it in someone's body language when they are being upfront and direct with you in an unscripted way. Their eyes narrow slightly, and you get a strong focused look from them directly into the eyes. They face you directly with square shoulders and tend to stand with their feet planted. But she tends not to focus, shuffles her body around ever so slightly and sort of wavers where she's looking and the positioning of her body. Also I've seen her on many occasions give a quick look up before answering a question, which is a dead ringer that someone is trying to remember something.
I don't think this makes her dishonest in any way. I really believe she's a strong enough person to mean the things she says. But the scripted speeches and body language do hinder the effectiveness of her messages at times, as far as I'm concerned.
rageous goes on and on about Hillary's flaws, I point out that Bush can barely speak English and he gets sand in his vagina.
Lighten up, outrage boy.
Just for the record, I pointed out no flaws of Hillary's. I commented on why she comes across as lacking charisma and disingenuous to me. Perhaps you should pay better attention. You think I somehow care that you have an unfavorable opinion of Bush and would feel the need to get ruffled by the fact that you made a childish and asinine remark about him, when in actuality I was turned off by the fact you felt the need to make a snide comment about him in some sort of ill-conceived defense to what I said, assuming that I am pro-Bush and anti-Hillary.
