Damn... even CNet has it by now... Steve must be fuming... I wonder if he can sleep even as all this is unfolding just hours before the keynote.. coming in slightly disoriented and short tempered... just like MWNY (the sleep part)

10 hours to Macworld San Francisco.

More than just a time machine.

OK, I just want to say that ppl have been predicting the iMac at this show forever and iPhoto has become big recently on the rumor sites and people were still saying "there's something more... something big or an acquisition or something that will be influencial later, but now that the story about th iMac2 has officially leaked, we're all saying that that's it!

You're all crazy! At the very least, we're going to get a boost in the PM line which Time failed to print hardly anything on (although they elude to them having G4s) so the can't be the whole story. And I wouldn't be supprised if there's something else, too.

Heads high, onward into the hallowed halls of Macworld!

I wouldn't be surprised if that allusion to the G4s was only because they didnt know any better. Also, if the G5s arent shipping yet, then calling them the current Pro machine would still be acurate as those are the only ones available. So G5s are not out of the question. I don't think we will see an iDevice. Also no iPod bump b/c they are selling very well ($50 mil in a quater). Well, maybe a price-cut . iBooks I think will be fine, although they wont sell as well b/c the iMac is so great. maybe a price cut? or bundle with an iPod... Nothing major.

As for something HUGE, I think having G5s and a SWEET iMac would be MORE then enough. Even G4s at 1.2GHz with DDR would be HUGE. Apple was right to hype everything like this. The biggest Macworld EVER.

    Edit: POST # 420!!!! hehehe <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

I think Steve knew that the Time Canada article was going to appear early. It is a teaser like the web site. Maybe somebody else noticed, but I did not see the (wireless keyboard), (wireless speakers) and wireless everything. I think there will be a lot of surprises at the show. All we see is a flat monitor and an oversized airport base station.

    Hmmm.

I had ruled out that possibility since I don't have cable, but a friend has DirectTV and probably gets it....

Not a bad idea, especially if the DSL is still down tomorrow!
