Since both Napster and Apple have music stores available in the UK and not Canada, I think it's the Canadian recording industry that is causing the delay. The relevant organized bodies must be trying to keep Puretracks and such afloat for as long as possible while delaying Napster, iTunes, Real, etc.
I've tried buying.. when you do it gives you an Apple ID sign up screen. So I typed it in as it's the same as the apple store (I think). The it asks you which country you want to be billed to and gives you the option of US, UK, France and germany. Then it went screwy for there so I quit iTunes. When I relaunched iTunes I was back at the screen that tells me I'm not in the US and so can't buy anything. Guess they've got a few creases to iron out yet. Oh yep.. tried to buy that iTunes essential mix ' Jazz Bar June '04'.

Songs on the UK store show as $0.99.
Shouldn't they be 79 pence?

Drop menu at bottom of store that has France, Germany, UK and US.
This is proving very frustrating...
Restarted iTunes a few times... nothing
Restarted Mac... nothing
Still keep getting 'Your country is not available yet' and no pull downs on the store front
Anybody?
