As usual you can't get over a source even on something as mundane as cursing. Some of the quotes are directly from the Stephanolopis book. I'm sure you can read it and see if they are lies.
But the point is people curse, even presidents. I didn't claim it was some big deal about Clinton wanting to "kill" people which is the aim of that piece. It just shows that people in private lifes and conversations curse. Big deal. It's my last word on it because if you can't believe that, then too bad for you.

The article quotes Stephanopolis once, saying that Clinton wanted to "kill" the Somalians that had killed Americans. Given the current climate, that hardly seems like evidence of an "angry, profane man" which is what the rest of this hit piece is attempting to portray him as, by quoting anonymous sources and well known Clinton haters.
So I guess you can say that not making a big deal of Clinton wanting to "kill" people demonstrates your broad mindedness about these things, except, as usual, you have to go looking for highly dubious sources to achieve your alleged symmetry.
Real symmetry would be finding an instance of Clinton confronting the speaker of the house and telling him to go fuck himself because he was sick and tired of the endless investigations into his personal life. Then, when it was picked up by the media, Clinton would need to appear on the news shows and brag about it, with the unmistakable implication that, when pushed hard enough, it was only right that the President tell people to go fuck themselves, because that asshole speaker of the house was a real prick.
I don't care if you personally are "OK" with cursing. I want to know if you think the scenario above would have been quickly dropped by the media as an example of "spirited debate".
Cheneys Haliburton was found out to be charging our military $45.00 for a case of coke. Cheney is still going to be making money from Haliburton. as a long time republican supporter though a registered independent all i can say is enough is enough from this whole administration. It has turned me 180 and will vote Kerry. I wont even mention healthcare, enviroment, oil companies,Iraq, etc... Cheneys swearing means little when you look at this inept administration.

I've participated in a number of conversations, both real and virtual, where the other person prefaced his or her comments with "Now, I'm a life-long Republican..." Purely anecdotal, but encouraging nonetheless.
Well no really. Like I mentioned in another thread, it's like the Democrat/Repub switch last century, when the racist Democrats from the South became the good guys, and the Republicans became the racist bad guys. Now Republicans spend more, and invade privacy more with the Patriot Act. BUSH is BIG GOVERNMENT, BIG BROTHER. WAKE UP true Republicans and vote this guy out! Even a Democrat would be more suited to your purposes of fiscal responsibility and civil rights!
