Here here. I can see why they wantd as many output options as possible but I'm hoping some point releases fix things a bit; add a doctype, close tags per XHTML rules, etc.

Well, of course. MS is being a bitch for not implementing that properly (without server tricks).

But my real point is that it's not attempting to begin to use CSS for effects, instead it bypasses it for making graphics. I'm not using it for that, I suppose it's useful to some people though, non-Photoshoppers perhaps.

Oh totally. XHTML isn't exactly new. We need adherence to standards from Apple as much as anyone else.

    Thanks. That's good to know.

Once it's open, can you just type or do you have to draw a text box first?

I have taken a series of screenshots which should explain a lot of this programs features. I don't have anywhere to host them though. Does anyone know of somewhere I could post them?

Thanks for the info. Maybe 1.X will fix this. I hope they update more than once a year.

There is a word count, I saw it in a screenshot. I believe there is a side panel that has an info tab and it lists the word count under that.

They were talking about a word count of a selection, not the whole document.
