    The key exerpt from the episode in question is from the security team aboard galactica: "She just disappeared into thin air." This is the reason why I came to the telepathic hypothesis in the first place, which is otherwise a more farfetched answer than a clone.

    I just don't feel this great need to figure it all out. Smokin' Babe Cylon (SBC) is in his head. How? Why? I don't care. Just watch and enjoy some tortured dolt being lead by the nose.

    The character is really well played. Particularly the final few episodes. A bit of Gollum thrown in.
