I'm under NDA, so I can't shouldn't say anything, but it would be obnoxious to leave that hanging out there, woulnd't it?

The icon grid adjusts the the size of the icons now. No more having 32x32 icons in a sea of white. There are some minor gotchas with it in some circumstances, but nothing to lose sleep over.

I'm going to shy away from giving up anything else unless it's really trivial or a fun teaser.

Maybe this is a fair indication of the speed of Tiger. Looks good

Imagine a Finder that is a mix of smart and traditional folders, such that a shallow hierarchy of top level abstractions can hold a rich plethora of data and mixed file types that you never have to update, it Just Happens(tm). That's where we're heading.

It's now quicker to type in a name in spotlight than look for it - even if you know where it is. This is revolutionary, Windows media players search still sucks - and Apple have got a system wide search like iTunes! However, the finder is still alive. But i'll be using it less and less.

Does spotlight find folders? Because I often have to do things with whole folders.

Yeah Spotlight breaks everything into catagories and basic folders are one.
