I remember a friend saying, "Is that a rhetorical question? 'Cause I got an answer!"

Macworld would've been boring without Rolo's contribution to our excitement, no? (Don't answer that)

Wild rumors (without any hope of them coming true... and a nice surprise they do) is the best part of it all! Even Steve enjoys them!

Well, Rolo was right to post his rumour, and I hope if he hears anything else he won't hesitate to share it.

Without rumours this board is just idle speculation, so personally I love to read rumours, love to analyse fake pictures, especialy when there's a big event coming up.

I still believe Apple will release a smart TV - if HP can do it why not Apple?

It makes sense considering all the pieces are falling into place: .Mac, broadband, 802.11a, Front Row, iTunes, Intel etc.

Actually, I do think that steve j does dig the wild ass rumors!!

They are entertaining. It is the dead on balls leaks that drive him batty.

So here is to the dreamers......

Keep on it Rolo even though this one didn't quite pan out!

Just remember! this is a REALLY TOUGH ROOM!!!

Ps where is KORMAC anyway?!! I miss him and his i****

Good God, this is the worst thread I've read in years on AI. For all of you writing nasty comments about Rolo, chill out big time. The caustic remarks are inexcusable. This is a rumors forum. We discuss rumors. This is not the first time someone has posted a rumor and been attacked. You know, if this is the way we treat anyone whose story doesn't pan out, why would anyone want to post here? Besides, how many times has something like this been rumored only to come out much later. I like Kormac. I like Rolo. If it wasn't for them we would have nothing but meaningless polls, and post your desktop threads.

Here's to the crazy ones..the Rolos, the Kormacs, the Allen MC Joneses, the Dorsals. The ones who think different. They make this place a lot more interesting.

Not related to topic thread, only to the title, but...

    [pedantic mode]

Wherefore = why (not where). Juliet is asking why Romeo has to be a Montague, the enemies of her family, not where he is. She has no clue he's stalking her in the garden.

Art=2nd person singular familiar ("thou") conjugation of "to be," not an old version of "are." Just like Spanish differentiates between Tu (familiar) and Usted (formal), English used to distinguish between Thou (familiar) and You (formal). This seems backwards to modern English speakers, and thou sounds much more formal. But that's only because it's old. [/pedantic mode]

I don't enjoy reading posts dripping with vitriol. 8)

    Just my .02

you'll notice that he's still here. you'll also notice that it was just a rumor that he would be banned. there was apparently no truth to it.

Well, sort of, except with Rolo, the proper equivalent would be going to the genius bar and giving the most cryptic response possible, so cryptic it doesn't even make sense, let alone solve any problems, and then spend an hour explaining how much the shit you are for knowing it.

"This solution's gonna be BIG, BIG I tell you."

You may or may not have a problem which may....be solved by either a software update or...a hardware replacement.... which will be revealed soon!!!!!

However, rolo is welcomed as there would be no interesting rumor to be discussed this turn otherwise

Until we finish creating the Rolo forum, could we please cease any and all topics focusing on him?

    This is future hardware folks...

heh. the PowerMac G6 and iBox by Kormac. those two are my favourites. well, PowerMac G6, we hardly knew ya. remember about web sites talking about the G6 being a super duper thingy out of IBM's Power5 chips? (the G5 is a Power4 derivative IIRC)

Rolo never said what the rumor was. He simply said he had an inside track on some info ThinkSecret was going to post. Was that information every posted? What was the rumor?

If Rolo wants to get his credibility back, he can spell out in detail what the rumor was.

What? Is this thread about an iRolo or something?

This forums is "Future Hardware", not "Persons who predicts Future Hardware".
