Then why doesn't Show-Up everytime though? Can they do it if they wanted to with every Update? Also, if they did can you download it off of the Software Update Program or should I keep on downloading it directly from the Apple's Web Site? Please let me know soon, thanks.
Because there's no point in downloading stuff you don't need. Software Update will choose the correct and appropriate updater based on what you already have installed, there's no need to second-guess it.
Combo doesn't get you anything secret or extra. It just combines several updates into one. If you need them, it will select it. If you don't, it won't. It does all the work for you.
