So....As per AppleInsider's latest report, I too think that now iMacs will run to their longest ever without an update.
"Buy a qualifying Mac and iPod from Apple or a participating Apple Authorized Campus Store from June 5, 2007, through September 16, 2007, and receive a mail-in rebate up to $199"
I think there will not be iMac updates during this period.
End of September/Early October will be tricky, but new iMacs with the super-duper-OMFG-redesign stuff with Leopard will lead the first major assault into the end-of-year holiday season.
WWDC will likely have Steve announcing at what stage (anything in September onwards??) Macs bought will qualify for free upgrade to Leopard... Remember those "Software Coupons"... Heh
C'mon everybody, let's blanket Stevie with subliminal messages: Everybody hum loudly at least 67 times every day until WWDC (don't worry if your spouse or coworkers look at you funny! This is important!)-
New iMacsssssss......
Newwwwww iMacssssssssss.....
hummmmmmmmmmmmmm.......
Everybody'll have to join in if we're to get through the RDF this late in the game.
<hint>Well we're offering free iPod Shuffle and Apple Wireless Mouse with every MacBook Pro.</hint>
Seriously though, the momentum is towards new MacBook Pros at WWDC, though honestly I don't know anymore than Kasper's letting out.
ha ha
nice.
I blew so much cash (well, as a % of my income anyways) on Apple in the past 5+ years I figured, might as well work for them (if you can't beat em...).
Hey, you guys offer a lot of free stuff with purchase! Free Airport Express with 17" iMac purchase? That's sweet! How many dollars is a Malysian...ummmm....rupee, maybe?

3 days and exactly 6 hrs (±15 sec) to go
Yeah, in SouthEastAsia things are improving gradually, MacBook and MacBookPro came down in price.
Free Airport Express on all the iMacs at this stage is not bad...
MacBook, MacBookPro, iMacs, now almost about comparable in equivalent USD once you factor about 5% to 10% sales tax[AFAIK?] in most US states.
The 17" SuperDrive iMac is 56,779.40 INR -- how does that compare??
