I had been using it exclusivley since the original public beta, but I have gotten so frustrated with its slowness and overall lack of being finished. Perhaps its my older rev d iMac, but in any event. I have rediscovered my love for the Mac in 9.2.1. Looks like OS9 til I get a new Mac whenever that is.
I wish I could use X all the time but I find I work faster in 9 when using PS, dreamweaver/flash. I also like Entourage better than Mail.
At first I didn't like OSX at all. Everything was so different and I didn't know where everything was but now I love it! I hate going back into 9 but time is money.
Wow, I'm feeling really guilty right now! I have to admit I use 9.2 most of the time. I go into X for a day or 2, but for some reason I end up going back to 9 and forgetting about 10. I'm not even sure why that is exactly...
I'll boot into X today and see how long I can keep it there...
I've been using 10.1 exclusively while running Outlook Express, PhotoShop and GoLive in Classic with 10.1 apps for everything else.
My iMac has been running 10.0.4 since the patch came out and up until yesterday it had been up for 146 days. Late last night in a fog I accidently restarted it while trying to put it to sleep via the Apple menu. (grrrr) time to upgrade it to 10.1 now.
My iBook has been restarted once since the intro of 10.1 (to apply the 10.1.1 patch). Sleep is so cool. My iBook sleeps sometimes 7 hours before I remember to plug it in.
Unfortunately, 10.1.1 has made classic apps pretty flakey. They quit unexpectedly without killing the Classic.app and they won't stay open when clicked on again. Takes several tries to start the os9 app again. Please Adobe ship GoLive and PhotoShop NOW!!!!

a) I need FinalCut Pro
and
b) OS X won't start up on it's own yet
When I get those two I'll be able to use it exclusively.

It won't start up on its own? I have an imac running os x by itself, and it starts up fine.

I fear I will have to boot in OS 9 to view a DVD on my TV though... <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
But on my g4 533 we can't because Quark is not native, there is no ATM to group fonts, no photoshop, and no outlook express right now.
On the imac I have 9.2.1 installed because my dad doesn't know osx and he needs his smartmedia ZiO adapter to work.

Because I wasn't aware that it existed.
