In case you aren't aware, that includes Hawaii , California , Oregon , Washington , Minnesota , Wisconsin , Michigan , Illinois , New York , and all of the Northeastern states. After this election, it might include Colorado and New Mexico . This split would be beneficial to the nation, especially to the people of the new Liberal America (or Amerika as you might say).
To sum up briefly: You get Texas , Oklahoma and all the slave states; the liberals get stem cell research, the best beaches, and the best ski resorts. They also get the Statue of Liberty; you get Dollywood, they get Intel and Microsoft; you get WorldCom. They get Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale , Cal Tech, MIT and Columbia ; you get Ole' Miss. The liberals get 85 percent of America 's venture capital and entrepreneurs; you get Alabama . The "nancy's" get two-thirds of the tax revenue; you get to pay your fair share for one.

Actually, everything there happens to be true. It particularly makes me laugh when your political compatriots go on about 'socialism' and the 'redistribution of wealth', when in fact for the last 50 or 60 years (longer in fact), the 'liberals' have been bailing out the Red States to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Farming subsidies, tax breaks for sweatshop call centers, disproportionate investment in rural schools and towns... spreading the wealth around for the last 60 years, has meant hardworking "drug infested liberals" have been sending, what amounts to aid to the conservative states. In fact, if you took the top 10 most right wing states and put them together, it'd be a third world country, and yet they seem to set the political agenda. Well, hopefully, that's about to change.
