ahhhh....can't wait! This is so exciting!

Just placed my order for Jaguar at the AppleStore

yeah, can someone please post a review? is it REALLY finished now? i mean, because 6c106 was obviously NOT... some interface elements have not been updated etc. etc... and now, only 9 builds higher i´d really like to know if this is 100% polished and ready for release...

i´m really afraid that apple simply could have forgotten about some of those details... so please someone prove me wrong!

gold master, speed increases...yeahhh....it is gonna be a long 22 day wait....i think apple should have a site online where you pay for 10.2 and can download it right away if you have high speed internet....oh well, waiting isn't so bad...except i will get to read posts from half the AI people about how great it is for the next 3 weeks...perhaps i should not visit here for a while....nahhhh....keep posting reviews, i'll try to survive somehow

Gold master so soon?? with three weeks till release date...it doesn't take three weeks to press cds and ship to suppiers...perhaps we will se hardware on the 13th that needs 10.2 to run FAST....g

edit...so perhaps this build isn't GM?? see post above mine...g

Well I dont care if its GM or not its fast F.A.S.T OK?! 6C115 is the sh*t. I have been using today and have notice a hefty speed bump for all my apps esp. Omniweb and other browsers, and my fav app. Sibelius (music notation) is TWICE as fast YES!! I didnt have build 106 sorry so I cant compare.

So my real high tech review is; a whole lot faster than 10.1.5, no Minimise-in-place (sorry) no icon if the app crashes when in background <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> (I never though that was a biggie anyway) Nice new options in finder (which is fricken' fast now) and that new Audio/MIDI setup dialog is great (finally) Rendevous is really good and worked perfectly in my almost-all-windoze office.

Rating 8.5/10 (could have left a few more things in) but damn its fast

    BUY.... THIS.... NOW.... GO....

I dont think this is the final release of Jaguar yet. This is a seed that will be one of the final test. They will give this to all programmers and see if they can find any bugs. If they do we might see 6c117 or 6c118.

    6c116 was already seeded.

I'm a little confused with your commment about Rendezvous. You said that it works well in your office of Windows machines. I though that Rendezvous only worked with other computer/devices that also have integrated Rendezvous. I know that Apple is the first to use this technology so are you sure your talking about Rendezvous working well in your windows network or are you talking about the new windows networking features in 10.2. Then again, maybe I just don't have clear picture of what works with Rendezvous. Anyone one else agree/disagree with either of us?

You can install another build over it. If It will now install just delete the system folder, it will have no choice but to install.

Don't anyone of you read the seednote?

"Following is information on Mac OS X, Jaguar build 6C115, the GM candidate of Mac OS X version 10.2"

This might be GM, it might not be. This is the first final candidate and there is usually 2-3 final candidates before GM is declared.
