    Apple has not learned.

Took 10 minutes to download a 230 mb file. Am I on dial up?

Apple failed first launch. Second was even worse. You'd think they learn and prepare the servers for today.

    SHAME!

Now the small window on the screen is verifying the update, and the bar on the phone is about 45% across.

I know you're all waiting at the edge of your seats for this commentary.

Bar is about 2/3rd across, and the window is saying updating firmware.

Is the 3.0 software update released today the same as the developer GM (7A341)?

the long-waited 3.0 finally revealed. I love the copy & paste function. it works great. also the spotlight search is very handy. but does anybody know why i can't see either the MMS settings or the camera logo on Message sending page? I am in China and the carrier here, China Mobile actually supports MMS. I have been using swirlyMMS for a while before 3.0 and everything was fine. Now I wish I knew how to operate MMS. HELP~

I downloaded 3.0 (Gold Master) last week and my build number is 7A341. Hope I didn't get gipped.

Of course. The fact that I've been running all 3.0 beta builds since they each got released is unimportant. Your iPhone's installation health worries me more

Only took three to four minutes to download. I started it at around 1:25. About halfway through the install right now. Looks like the whole thing is going to take about ten minutes.

I just found out that you can disable the Find My iPhone feature without using a password.. Whats that about.. A thief could just switch that feature off the moment he got the phone.

Drats!!! I am at work and cannot update until I get home

Someone please tell me how awesome it is....

It isn't detecting a new version and it won't let me restore.

For those still waiting for the process to finish...the entire thing from d/l (15mbps internet connection) to install and ready to go took around 23 mins. I'm off to explore, enjoy!
