Bummer but I like the Twins' chances tomorrow with Radke pitching. It's still anybody's series.

I remember seeing Carew get that hit on TV when I was a kid. The pitcher was Frank Viola. God those powder-blue road unis were hideous.

Back to being a doomsayer. The Giants are done. They may win one game at home, but they'll surely be going back to St. Louis, where homefield will finally make a difference...

    Oh, here's a pic:

    Nice pic, Eugene.

I'm not giving up on my Twins, though ... I think they'll battle back to win tomorrow, and then who knows what will happen at the Dome. And teams do come back from 3-1 deficits ... as Angels fans well know

Wow ... Angels 13, Twins 5 Good luck to the Angels; they've been playing great ball and have great fans.

Angels vs. Cardinals would be a great Series.

    We'll be back!

Kent screamed "F*CK!" after he struck out in game 2. Clearly audible.

And when JT Snow hit his two RBI double you could see him mouth "F*CK YAH!"

Great game...Now I have to line up for World Series tickets if they're leading toward the end of the game tomorrow!

Tim McCarver and Joe Buck are so bad. I can't believe FOX is using them to announce the NLCS. Both are obviously very biased to St. Louis. Amazingly, Joe Buck seems to be the lesse of the two evils, even though he's Jack Buck's kid. Jon Miller, rescue me, PLEASE.

Well, McCarver once played for the Cards too.

Time McCarver isn't the greatest, but I actually like Joe Buck. I'd take the two of them over Jon Miller any day.

I'll take nationally broadcast games on ESPN with Jon Miller over FOX's McCarver/Buck A-team any day of the week.

As for the local guys, Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow rule.

maybe a trip to the world series will coax Lon Simmons into delaying his retirement for a bit?

Nothing against the Giants but with a series like this one I kind of wish it could have gone seven. The reason it didn't was the Giants got the key hits when the Cardinals didn't. The Cards weren't as bad as the Braves at leaving runners on - nobody could be that bad - but they sure blew their chances. Seems as though the Giants never let an opportunity pass them by. Really good series. I hope the World Series is as good but it goes seven.

The same thing that happened to the Braves happened to the Cardinals. They stranded people on base, many in scoring position.

Somehow I don't think the Giants will be able to do the same thing to Anaheim...Those guys can hack at and hit anything.

know the yankees are out... bit bummed about that but

1.) save money by not going to the ALCS AND WS

2.) This is gonna be a great series IMO... can't wait.
