Heck there are entire mixing desks that utilize the iPad as their screen and recording area now.
The only Android related product I saw from NAMM 2012 was an app designed to let you follow along on tabs. Shit, I was already doing that on an iPad or for that matter on any web browser for the last 18 years Android has serious latency deficiencies and this is why you never hear much about realtime music production that is being done on Android, b/c none is.

A neat little feature in iOS 6 would be allowing third parties more control over the appearance of their app's icon.

Heck, you could even fit a proper cloud, sun, snowflake, raindrop, or lightning bolt on there behind the temperature.

The input is not primarily by stylus. It's an error in the article, inadvertant I'm sure.
EDIT: AI has edited and re-worded the article this morning, now saying the stylus is a main form of input rather than primary.
Still the stylus is not a main form of input. It is a great extra tool that is realy useful in everyday life.
