Those that don't like cases, perhaps you haven't held an iPhone 6 yet. Did you see that video of that guy dropping his as soon as he got it out of the box? Its so thin, and slippery, its insane. Get a case, with some grip. I stuck with the Griffin case, simple, clean, with grip.
Always astounds me that some people decide to make a statement, in order to prove an assertion, without spending a few seconds to make sure it's accurate. I'm assuming to you're referring to the australian kid. He didn't even touch the phone- it flew out of the box when he yanked it open, because the box created a vacuum and he idiotically decided to open the box in such a clumsy fashion. Yeah, it's thin and light. But I have NEVER dropped my iPhone, so I guess it depends how careless one is.
That's actually what I don't get: why make it so thin and slippery that nobody will ever see it? Make it a little thicker and less slippery so that it's safe to use without a case, or stop designing and marketing features like thinness and metal construction that are only relevant to those who can afford to replace their phones on a whim.
Sp, Apple should make their phones look like shit, so noone drops them? They can make the damn phone out of the grippiest material possible, and 2 inches thick, and it will STILL get dropped. At least because its so thin, you can now add a case to it and it wont look too hefty. I'd prefer Apple not design their products around people that can't walk 2 steps without tripping over themselves or dropping their phones. That's what cases are for. For the rest of us that dont drop our $900 phones every 5 seconds, we appreciate the gorgeous design and engineering.
Bigger screens mean more delicate glass to take care of%u2014one drop and that large new Retina display can turn into a shattered mess. Fear not, however, as nearly every case maker under the sun wants to help protect your new investment. cool phone cases

Not dropping your iPhone 6 over the entire ownership period of 4 days (5 if you're Steven Colbert) does not prove much. Give it time. You'll drop it, or you're only using it at the kitchen table. Or are you talking about previous iPhones, which is not really the point here since people are commenting on how slippery the iPhone 6 is, in comparison to previous iPhones?
Actually, I bought an Apple Microfiber in dark grey to use with my blk/space grey iPhone 6. It doesn't add much bulk at all and is nice looking. It is a bit pricy at $35 but it is a small, nice looking case. I won't use it all the time, just in casual situations. Usually my iPhone goes naked with a skin but with the smooth curve and transition from the screen to the aluminum case, I am afraid the edge of skins and screen protectors will be a big detraction.
While I appreciate the aesthetics of Apples devices, I did not buy it to set on a shelf and admire its appearance. It is a phone. I use it as such. Unfortunately I have very small children, I do not work and live in padded spaces, I do not have the time to wait for a phone to be replaced when damaged, and finally my excess cash is best spent raising said small children not replacing a phone.
Even though I know its sacrilege to put a big bulky "ugly" case on my new IPhone 6 Plus, I must put said case on said phone. I work in varying environments with weather from dry blowing sand to squalls and waterspouts. I have to use my phone in these environments and cannot afford to have it damaged or unserviceable when I have to order tools.
Unfortunately it appears that I am stuck using a Otter Box, at least until Lifeproof can catch up and design one for the IPhone 6 Plus. My experience with Otter Box and my 4s has been underwhelming. The microphone was muffled thus the audio pickup was distant making conversation difficult.
I would recommend getting a sturdy case because of the fact the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus can potentially bend in your pocket. There are some great options including the Spigen Slim Armor Case or the Urban Armor Gear Case, both of which are reviewed and compared on this site. These cases have proved themselves stylish and durable for the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
My iphone 6 does not feel slippery at all! Do i have spiderman hands or something? It is light but it feels good! To me it is great even though it is bigger than my 5s. Will not go bigger than 4.7 big phone are stupid IMO
Apple updating its Turkish Online Store on browsers but costumers can buy iPhone 6/6 Plus within Apple Store on their iDevices, ship 2-3 weeks for all choices!
I've always liked the classy look and feel of the leather wrapped cases. I use one on my 5S, suits the classy look and feel of the iPhone itself, while providing added protection.
I really like some of these cases. I do not have an iPhone 6 Plus yet, but when I do get mine I will definitely get a cool case for it.
Yes,otterbox and lifeproof could be my favorite, and now I'm also check the love mei case which offers extreme protection as also fashion on design, yet it's also a little bit bulky than the common case and waiting for the reviews right now...
Anyone who craps up an iPhone 6 with a bulky Oterbox-like case doesn't appreciate the architectural aesthetic of the iPhone 6. My Sena sleeve is on the way.

No and why should they, the iPhone is a tool. As there are millions of iPhone 6's on the street now, no one is going to care if your hiding the aesthetics of the phone by using an Otter Case. It improves the odds that it will last longer, protects it from scratches, drops, makes it water/shock resistant, etc. The Otter Case is a wonderful addition to any phone or tablet that a person actually wants to use without having to treat it like it was made out of glass.
I bought one iphone 5 case from casecoco, their case is unique and quite sturdy.I usually drop my iphone?the case has saved my phone for 6 times. So I preorder one iphone 6 case from their site: http://www.casecoco.com/personalized-cases-for-iphone/iphone-6-cases-194 , Coup Code:CCSTAFF2014. Show their design here.

You couldn't get much further from it at this point.
You keep introducing new things to the discussion that have nothing to do with what I said. That is moving the goalposts.

So hard to find something that doesn't turn it into a rubber/plastic brick. I like what Toast is doing with their wood covers.
Thank you!
See my iPhone 6 designs.
