Maybe the reveal of the new Mac Pro will be there?

The place looks like a different planet from the old H-P compound. It is too bad Steve Jobs did not live to see it in anything but his mind's eye.

We are investigative journalists trying to get to the bottom of all things Apple and we are doing a better job at it than the mainstream media.

He didn't just see it in his mind, he got to see the plans, the drawings and knew what it would end up looking like. He even made a presentation to the Cupertino local council where he laid out the plans and diagrams of it.

Are you really gaining sexual pleasure from this drone video of a corporate building? Scratch that. I don't want to know.

The order of the colors in the rainbow match Apple’s original color logo and not the LGBT flag. I’m guessing it’s more specific to Apple and not an LGBT thing.

I’m thinking both. They’re used their colored logo rainbow for similar events in the past.

As far as sequence, the colors most closely match the vintage color Apple logo, not the Pride flag, although the two share many of the same colors.

Clearly there are not enough LGBTQ2 people on this forum that it took the tenth post to mention Pride month!

That's in June. This isn't only May, but the beginning of May. What I assume was the person that wrote the article mentioned well before post 10 that there are no LGBT events this month.

Again, Friday, May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

Haven't heard of that. Which only highlights the need for it. I look forward to all the bros asking when the day against Heterophobia is, once more highlighting the need for this day. (Obviously, there isn't a day against Heterophobia, because that isn't a thing.)

I see some various theories floated, but why is the #1 most obvious theory not being mentioned?

It's a very colorful looking rainbow. Probably something to do with some LGBT stuff. That's what I would place my money on if this were a betting game.
That's also a possibility - there aren't any major LGBT events coming up however.
Friday, May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. So that’s a possibility.
IDAHOBIT is the answer. Though the colours on the stage appear in the order of the rainbow apple logo rather than the order they appear on the pride flag.

Landscaping looks great, courtesy of an unusually wet winter and spring.

Being gay these days is no big deal. It's practically an advantage for certain people and in certain lines of work.

I would support a Gay Trump supporter phobia day. Those gays are the ones that deserve the most protection, not liberal gays.

Being gay is one thing. Being gay and wearing a red hat is something completely different and they are at a far greater danger than just the normal, boring, predictable, cookie cutter liberal gays that are found everywhere. Those other gays are the bravest gays around and I can admire their bravery.

Picture blown up. Same exact colors as LGBT flag.
As others have stated, it's actually it's the colors of the second Apple logo. The LGTBQ colors follow the actual ROYGBIV rainbow. People always seem to jump at the extreme conclusion. Though Cook did come out publicly, he is actually a very private person so to say it's related to LGTBQ just because Cook is gay, is a bit of a stretch.

So... okay, the confusion has cleared up. Now the question remains, what is Apple planning by resurrecting old Apple logo?

Yes, Pride Week is in June. It's a little early to be setting up a stage for June festivities.
