Oh man I seriously believe Mastergater now. He doesn't know who kormac is. He is not a self-respecting engineer, probably not a engineer at all. He didn't know how to edit posts. The only difference is I have a dual processor option on all G5 desktops.
Oh and I also DO NOT think Apple will update the portables in Jan. We'll have to wait for Feb or March for G3 Sahara in the iBook and I'm hoping for a .13 micron G4 in the TiBook.

I wouldn't know about the ass part, but I can tell you that beer is remarkably useful when the need to wash down a bad taste exists. About the only taste I wouldn't try to wash down is toothpaste taste...more horrible than drinking citrus beverages right after brushing your teeth I suspect.
BTW, I wonder if Mastergating's name itself is a clue. As in, he thinks all the future hardware speculation is mental masturbation...which one would have a hard time arguing against, I must admit.
If the TiBook was getting an update/facelift on Jan 7, wouldn't you if you were Apple trying to unload "old stock" add a sweetener to help clear some stocks out? Other than that the choice is cutting the price dramatically, which Apple has steered clear off in the past.

I have sat back too long because I did not want to post or talk directly to such a bastard as Masterbater. I just wish his type would go away because they are not the type of people I respect. I respect those that have dignity. Apple would obviously not want you working for them and you probably do not. The fact that you would just post what information you were given leads me to believe that you are a disrespectful loser. Do you not see what you have done if indeed you have posted legitimate information? You have ruined MacWorld for some people that wanted a surprise and for Apple who obviously wants secrecy. I think that people come to these boards because they DO want to know what Apple is going to come out with (if you don't want to know, it's probably not a good idea to be looking around the "future hardware" section). But I believe that he's full of sh*t and being a real nuisance and general waste of time and space....
