Apple releases full trailer for animated comedy 'Luck'
I've enjoyed a lot of Apple+ series. Enough to continue to support them by paying the monthly fee... for now... But this one felt pretty poor. Not sure "contrived" is the word I'd use, maybe, but I felt like the plot felt so incredibly lame. Instead of making a story about something truly heartfelt and real, they fell into the modern story-telling trap of creating a "world with rules that has to be overcome, and ultimately broken, in order to reach the goal". A to B. Many modern scriptwriters are just making "concepts" and "video game scripts". They've probably grown so used the idea that the film must be compelling in a pitching scenario, hence falling into the "concept" trap over and over again. I used to work as an animation director and animator, and I'm still a true animation fan.. And I'm very sensitive to seing poor storytelling being poured money over and turned into movies. It hurts a little. Writing it off too early, of course… Sorry… but the trailer said it all.

Rumor: Apple's 'iPhone 7' to ditch Space Gray for 'Deep Blue' color option
Right now there are two front colours, black or white. I think it's time to introduce new colours to the front. For instance for the iPhone C I always thought it looked sort of inconsistent with the colourful backs not reflecting on the front in any way (other than the screen backdrop). I'm mostly going for the white fronts simply because I find the black a little too harsh. Perhaps deep blue could be reflected on the front colouring as well? Especially darker shades would be nice on the front, in my opinion. I'd like a space grey'ish front. -
Apple releases Safari 10 beta for OS X El Capitan and OS X Yosemite
It's a bit sad to see no mention on compatibility with new web standards, or something like that, in that list of evaluation.. Mostly focusing on their own thing. I hope they'll catch up. That Chrome browser is pretty damn snappy and compatible right now.

Apple fires dozens of Project Titan employees as autonomous car initiative shifts to underlying tec
AppleInsider said:It seems, however, that Project Titan lacks that most basic of Apple qualities, as people working on the project said they are not sure what, exactly, would set Apple Car apart from similar vehicles currently in development by would-be competitors, the NYT report said.
1. Too many cars on the roads, creating jams.
- Uber car pool?
2. Too many cars not in use, is a waste.
- Uber car pool?
3. Too many cars with one person, (creating jams).
- Uber car pool?
4. Most cars fuelled by phossile fuel. Emissions.
- Electric?
5. Good cars are for the rich, not helping at a broad scale.
- Uber car pool?
6. Batteries of electric vehicles, are they really that environmentally friendly to produce?
- Nano Flow Cell perhaps?
7. Autonomous tech is perhaps too immature to work under extreme or unforeseen conditions: rain, snow, mud, old roads, old towns, protesters, countryside, road blocks, no proper roads, places with bad or non existing map data?
- Nail it! Until nailed, only authorised roads can be driven autonomously..
8. Difficult to find a parking spot, (due to too many inactive cars)
- Uber car pool.
I've heard some startups working on electric autonomous cars that you don't own, but share in a car pool and access like Uber. This would be contributing. But more one-passenger cars on the roads won't change or contribute in any way. It's only gonna make things worse. So what if the make a really beautiful wonder, if they don't contribute to cleaning up the infrastructure car mess, it's gonna make things worse.
the strongest indication we have is Apple's partnership with Didi.

Apple's Trent Reznor says YouTube built on stolen content, pushes Apple Music
AppleInsider said:"It is built on the backs of free, stolen content and that's how they got that big," Reznor said.
YouTube is an open platform, where the content creators can do as they please.
You wanna go all free content? You got it.
You wanna upload something right now, and have it ready for distribution right now? You got it.
You wanna stream content live, right now? You got it. No questions asked ;-)
You wanna preroll long ads before your content, in hope of striking gold by monetizing shit? You got it.
You wanna make a paid subscription channel? You got it (is it in beta?).
You wanna keep everything free, and let core fans donate through Patreon? You got it.
Apple music is great, and if they offered a similar approach to both music and video I'd be thinking about changing platforms to Apple. But right now it's just a music streaming service. It's great, but it's not an alternative to YouTube.
