Apple warns developers it will pull apps without recent updates from the App Store
Sorry that it's onerous for a developer to keep an app up to date, but I have to agree with Apple on this one.
Apple updates iOS with new features all of the time and old apps that haven't received an update since iOS 6 or so reflect poorly on the store, hide more modern apps in the clutter, and perhaps more to the point probably don't reflect modern security practices and privacy notifications and behaviors. -
Adobe hikes Creative Cloud prices with a rebrand no one asked for
I actually have the Adobe "Photography" Plan that just bumped up from $9.99/mo to $15.52/mo. ($19.95 listed on site).
Or had, rather, since I just cancelled it. I no longer use it enough to justify the cost, and have been using Pixelmator Pro for the odd work that I needed done.
Switching to a new program isn't easy... but it's getting easier, and I'm getting tired of Adobe's incessant price increases.
I'm currently going through the painful process of trying to delete the apps from my machine.
Apparently Adobe didn't hear about the "one click cancel/delete" law... -

On pretty much the same day, Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people at Sandy Hook, including 20 children.
Which group of parents would you have preferred to have been in?People are welcome to give up their own rights, not mine.
Unfortunately, here in the US, your "rights" are interfering with the rights of some kids to live past puberty.

Texas passes App Store age verification law, despite Tim Cook's concerns
diman80 said: An Apple ID already contains enough private information, so no additional data needs to be shared.
And that's information that must be uploaded and stored in order to have proof of age.
Worse, we don't have any sort of standardized API associating "proof of age" such that we can simply ask "is this user old enough" w/o giving away more information than we should. -
Apple slips out a quiet iOS 26 beta 1 update with a new build
"It could also resolve early battery drain reports on supported iPhones."
Come on folks. Every time a new OS version releases the first thing it does is run through and reindex the stuff that's on your phone. It's not a battery drain issue, just the OS and apps doing their jobs.
It happens every year.
